The Philosophy

From understanding the problem to defending the decision.

Too many teams get trapped in the discovery phase or rush into AI without a business case. The Product Lab sits between business goals, product strategy and execution — helping turn abstract ideas into decisions that stakeholders can understand and teams can actually build.

The goal is not more process. It is clearer thinking when the information is incomplete and the answer is not obvious.

The Practitioner Behind The Lab

Hi, I’m Aarohi.

I’ve spent my career working in the space between business problems, technology and the people trying to turn both into something that actually works.

My experience has taken me from building in an early-stage startup to working with enterprise technology, across business analysis, automation, product strategy, delivery and, more recently, AI. The environments have been different, but the underlying challenge has often been the same: making good decisions when the problem is still unclear and the constraints are real.

That is what led me to build The Product Lab.

It is a place to turn some of the ways I approach product work into something people can actually practise — through workshops, interactive tools and practical frameworks. Not to provide answers for every situation, but to help people ask better questions, work with what they know and don’t know, and arrive at decisions they can explain and defend.

Methodology in Action

Building at the intersection of business & technology.

Product work doesn’t happen in isolation. It sits between business goals, technology, users, delivery and the constraints of the organisation building it. These are some of the environments that shaped how I approach that work.

01Early-stage startup · Intelligent automation

AIQod

I joined AIQod as its second employee and founding Product Manager, helping build the business and product from the ground up. Because we were a small founding team, the work extended far beyond a conventional product role. I worked directly with the founder across business analysis, product strategy, sales, marketing, delivery, investor pitches and other core areas of building the company.

How I work with AI

Building for the AI-enabled enterprise

AI only earns its place when it changes an outcome someone is accountable for. These three lenses — augmentation, agency and strategy — decide where it goes and where it deliberately does not.

GenAI

Augment knowledge work

Research, synthesis, documentation and analysis accelerated — with the product manager still accountable for the judgement.

About Aarohi

My career has moved through several versions of the technology industry — from Business Analysis and enterprise automation to 0-to-1 Product Management and, more recently, GenAI and Agentic AI product development.

That progression shapes how I approach products today: start with the business problem, understand the people affected by it, challenge assumptions, use technology deliberately, and measure whether the solution actually creates value.
